Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Larkim - with erg mode, it doesn't mean you will definitely hit the power, you still need to produce the power. If you don't hit it, then you end up in the spiral of doom. The trainer increases the resistance to get you to hit the required power, and if you still don't then you grind to a halt!
If you can achieve the power, then yes it does end up looking quite tidy.

I like intervals.icu for analysis. Free but it’s one of the very few sites I voluntarily donate for. (Think there may be precisely one other and it’s this one).

It was someone on fetch who introduced me to it - maybe larkim even? It does running analysis too but cycling is currently more interesting for me.

Just accidentally cycled up Mont Ven-top on stage 3. Not happy, this was meant to be the shorter ride, only realised when I got to 700m....

Run tomorrow and one more stage to do.

Well, that hurt! I did the Uber Pretzel ride on Zwift today. Obviously I'm not trained for any distance like that, but I hoped I'd be able to get around at least :) I got to the bottom of AdZ in about 4hrs but I was done by that point, but of course I had to get up the blasted thing to get the badge and XP. With 5k to go I wasn't actually sure if I was going to be able to do it, but I did get it done, finishing it in 5hr20.

I had a freezer box full of food and drinks by the side and I suppose it could be said that it was an interesting way to spend a Saturday.

There were about 4000 like-minded individuals who started the event, but not sure how many finished it.
