Good running folks. don't overdo it marathon peeps, if not, I'll be getting the wet haddock out!
You have until 10pm tomorrow to log your runs!
Any theme ideas or do I have to think one up myself?

Girlie - maybe an I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue themed one, in memory of Humph? The top distance peeps can be Mornington Crescent; don't know enough about the underground to know the hierarchy though!
I also traversed a new "footpath" today, NSC - well, I went from stile to stile; there was actually no discernible path on the ground. I am determined to seek out these routes locally, even if they aren't regularly used. Maybe my footprints on the unused "paths" will encourage the next person who attempts to follow what is clearly there on the map, but not on the ground.

Quimby: I think that's a brilliant idea, so much so, that I've just ordered a local O/S map!!! Thanks for the idea.

Cool, Belper Bear - go for it! Just don't expect a fast run across the fields without paths; they can be a bit bumpy. Today I tried to follow the tyre tracks of the farmer's Landrover, which had flattened the ground a little bit. Even though you can't run fast across fields, the terrain is *very* good for improving ankle strength. Just be careful. And stop occasionally to listen to the birds & watch the sheep. Countryside is *nice*.

I did a trail run as well, 14.7 miles most of which was trail with about 2 mies of road. I was going to go to the dales and run up Ingleborough but when I looked at the weather it said it was pi$$ing down there, so stayed local instead. Anyway I really enjoyed it today and ran at 8:45 pace and 72%WHR.
