I wasn't fetched up today but did look over and wave at 13 (but it was when the lead men were coming the other way so I'm sure they were understandably anybody's focus). I think I saw BrianJ in an avoideveryone top. Then I saw and waved to the Jigs's on the return section, lovely to see you both! X

Congrats to all London finishers! There were a couple of other marathons today but this is obviously where the party is! Fantastic performances all around, well done everyone! Also a huge thank you to all marshals and supporters, it makes such a difference!

Just watching a post on FB from the BBC. Someone running as Big Ben then couldn’t get over the line. As it shows an official trying to help him a few runners come in past and just at the end of the sequence a fetchie runs in but can’t see the face or number - just the top.

About This Thread

Maintained by Kirsty
After getting lucky in the ballot yesterday, I couldn’t find a thread, so thought I’d start one. Bit of background: I ran 7 marathons (2 London, 2002 and 2006) between 2002 and 2016, fastest 4:06, slowest 5:09. Major health issues in 2017 and 2019 and I felt that my marathon days were over, but I kept entering the ballot, safe in the knowledge I wouldn’t get in - and now I have! I am probably looking at walking the whole way, or possibly jeffing. I’m very excited and very nervous!
