Some progress. I now appear in the provisional results on the TCS website, and in the results on their app (bizarrely with a gun time of 14 hours plus and a net time of the figure I gave them from Garmin. In the 'you couldn't make this up' category, I finally had a response yesterday from their help desk, sort of apologising and giving me a link to follow to upload my result. This link took me to the result page for someone called Kelvin Mandeville who ran in the actual London event! A bit more ferreting around on the website produced a form to fill in if your chip time was wrong but that says 'Do not use this form for MyWay results - use the link emailed to you on 19th April.' I received no such email. The one that I got on 17th April referred to problems some people had in accessing the app and giving an 'updated' booking ref. This, for me, was exactly the same as my original booking ref - which they didn't recognise. I won't be asking TCS to organise any brewery piss-ups anytime soon! Have you had a medal or T shirt yet TILLYFLO ? |

Aha! TILLYFLO I've just this minute had an email from TCS confirming that I completed the marathon and saying that the medal and T shirt will be dispatched on 22 May (only a month after the event!!) I hope you've had the same. What a farrago. |

LazyDaisy We await the morrow!!!!! What are the odds????? they are well past a brewery job i think they are excelling and have upgraded to a brothel! Hear back tomorrow

I have both medal and T shirt, but as a final insult my T shirt has a hole in the front - that pink plasticky strip has made the cheap fabric less flexible and it's split. Oh well, black is not really my colour anyway! That's shocking that some of your group have still not had their medals! 😡 |
