Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I just had that Big Ben clip pop up on my FB feed and saw the Fetch shirt too! Didn't realise it wasn't today until I looked in on this thread.

I loved Andrew Cotter's commentary once Steve Cram had gone home. He'd run out of "requests" to read out so said "and a big shout out to Kelvin Kiptum who's running his 2nd marathon" :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Kirsty
After getting lucky in the ballot yesterday, I couldn’t find a thread, so thought I’d start one. Bit of background: I ran 7 marathons (2 London, 2002 and 2006) between 2002 and 2016, fastest 4:06, slowest 5:09. Major health issues in 2017 and 2019 and I felt that my marathon days were over, but I kept entering the ballot, safe in the knowledge I wouldn’t get in - and now I have! I am probably looking at walking the whole way, or possibly jeffing. I’m very excited and very nervous!
