Good luck for GCSE results After 2.5 days waiting in a queue for university accommodation there is none left. LittleD is really upset. She can commute, of course, but it's not the same and she says she would have gone elsewhere if she'd known. |

My colleague's son moved flat to a spare place after someone left their course a week in. Might be worth her asking the accommodation office just in case. I always go by the notion that it doesn't hurt to ask politely. Results day here. Cedd is still asleep. He needs to go in between 9 and 10:30 but all his mates are going at 10 |

Double results day here. Grandson gets his results and daughter (his mum) gets her maths result. Sadly she has resigned herself to a fail as her exam was when grandson had gone missing as she knows she messed it up 😞

I think she can check back every day for cancellations. I have asked her to ask about a waiting list.

@LindsD don’t the uni guarantee accommodation for first years or is that not a thing any more? There will absolutely be places available after a few weeks so don’t lose hope, could also look at private options? |
