Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Blimey, everyone's at it, well done Rog! I did 21:58 today at Tring parkrun today. 1st Km in about 5:30. It did have 60m of elevation in it though!

Did 18:59 at the track on Friday night, only the second time under 19. It's definitely easier on the track, although it didn't feel too easy at the time. Came down with a cold the day after so maybe there is more in the tank when I'm fully fit!

Thought I'd only post in here the once, but seems I'm closer to feeling like a genuine sub 19er than I might have done previously. 19:11/12 (not had official time through yet) last night at a local race organised by the local authority to promote active workforces etc. Didn't give it full race day beans or prep and it was a touch breezy by the coast, but did try fairly hard so left reassured that I can go sub 19 again on a good course at some time in the future. I'm still surprised by this, mind you.

Suppose I really should think about sub 40 for 10k now too...

You should indeed lark - your current 10k PB is very soft

I'd recommend having a crack at a 5000 on the track if you can find one nearby
