Best of luck lark. If they are in that order make sure it is a very gentle cruise for the 3000 or the 15 might end up a bit below your capability which would be a shame

3000m is 11:45, rest of the day will inevitably be delayed from that point onwards!

Are you doing both as a scorer? Assuming the 3000 isn't scoring given the cruise plan so why not just drop it?

Scoring, yes. But given the size of the field probably not much difference in the points between a 10:45 and an 11:45 time tbh.

15 x 1 min off 1 min faster than 5km pace last night. Last rep was 5.11 pace.
Suffered big style

@spr - yes, I'm a one man senior team so unless my eldest son turns up (and he won't has his a levels start on Monday) I'm the only one accumulating any points. A bit pointless really add some of the other clubs will have six or seven seniors there, but I'm trying to set an example for other parents who turn up to watch their kids who could turn out.

Good running all!
Ran an 8.40.28 3000m PB at Watford last night i'm pretty chuffed with as went in with no expectations. Went out hard running 68s for 3-4 laps to get out of trouble as ridiciulously big field then slowed down a bit. Needed 67 to dip 8.40 so bit annoying but can't complain with a PB! Have now run a PB over HM, 10k, 5k and 3k within last 5 races! Speedwork is helping

Highgate was clearly just a blip then PB great run!
Fair enough then lark, just be sure to jog the 3000 as you've not got a 1500 on your record so it would be good to do yourself justice

Super time there, PB. Gobi, sounds like a good workout. Suffering is OK as long as it doesn't lead to a setback. How are you today?
