So

Went to Barry Island but due to a bad curry decided not to do a full effort but instead run with the wife.

However as I felt a little better mid run I decided to attack the nasty turn around point 4 times. Went a chunk faster than everyone.

I'm claiming it as speedwork ahead of a sub 18 before the year is out.

9 miles today was my 2nd longest run of the year. The last week was over 20 miles and not much below Septembers Monthly total.
