I picked up my work bags and my gloves. Opened the car door and put the bags and the gloves inside, picked up the ice scraper, and scraped the windows, getting my bare hands very cold in the process.

Team meeting before Xmas featured a best festive teams background comp. I used a pic of an elaborate gingerbread scene with candles etc. Logged off and didn't realise that wouldn't reset background to default.

First meeting with the big boss after Xmas to discuss my team's performance. Clicked on the link, said a serious hello and offered to screenshare a data report as audio connected before video and i popped up on screen with a bloody festive scene behind me like the data elf.

From earlier today:
Only realised my running tights were inside out when I tried unsuccessfully to put my phone into the side pocket. I took them off and turned them the right way around and then, as I walked out onto the drive wondered why my feet were so cold - I'd forgotten to put my shoes back on,

This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
