Chucked a used mask in the bin. Trouble is it was a fabric mask and I meant to put it in the washing machine.

Bint, I've tried putting my glasses on when I'm wearing contacts...then wondering why things look really weird!! Ooops Badger!

I've done the opposite: took my monthly contact lenses out overnight to give the eyes a rest and wore my backup glasses for the evening before. The next morning, forgot all that, and fumbled around next morning grinding and making coffee before realising after about half an hour why I felt like a bat in an anechoic chamber.

I’ve done the glasses over contacts a few times.
When people come into my office to talk to me and I have readers over contacts, I always take them off to make better eye contact. I keep doing it out of habit when I’m wearing actual glasses, which has entirely the wrong effect.

Or one I've recounted before...napping with the contacts in (not monthly ones), waking up and thinking my eyesight has 'fixed' itself by magic! (if only)

Started to unload the dishwasher and was disappointed to see that the first item I picked up wasn’t cleaned properly. Then I realised, the dishwasher had dirty stuff in it and hadn’t yet been filled or turned on 🙄
