Went for a walk with OH today and on the way back we stopped at the butcher’s.
As we came out he started walking in the wrong direction and I said to him “where are you going?”. He stopped and looked at me, puzzled, and I wondered if he thought we were continuing the walk in a different direction (I’d been showing him my lunchtime run route which is a bit twisty/turny and I thought maybe he expected the route home to be similar).
But no. He was going home, straight home, just up the road. He wasn’t going in the wrong direction at all, I was. He said it was a good job I’d shown him where I run so that he can come and find me ...

I came in from my run, took my Garmin upstairs to talk to my 'phone, heard the ping of the 'phone acknowledging the Garmin, and went all around the room looking for where I'd put the Garmin down before realising it was still on my wrist.

I couldn’t understand why my iPad was showing 30% charged when it had been plugged in all evening. It would that it doesn’t takes much charge from the earphones!

Making tea last night (the meal) i put some Broccoli in a steamer over the Linguini pan. Gave it about 10 mins, called tea's ready up the stairs and the family gathered for dinner. Took the Broccoli off, went to drain the Linguini and then realised that i only had boiling water in the pan.

Within three steps realised that I still had my Birkenstocks on - 🤦♂️
