I have a 5k victory over DM too, at Prospect in a freedom run. He was recovering from surgery, if I recall correctly...

I once overtook Kelly Holmes on the bike part of a duathlon. She soon raced past me on the following run though!

There used to be an Olympian who frequented my parkrun.

He was an utter knob. Shouted at a teenage girl once so much that she cried. Bizarre behaviour. The ED told me he basically had to fill in an incident report every single time he attended.

One year at VLM Gordon Ramsay cut right across me at a drinks station and bashed in to me. He gave me a polite 'look where you are going you f***kin c**t'. I suppose that's staying in character for you!!
