Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks all for the welcome. I know on occasion we appear in the top banner of the parkrun site (I think that image changes/rolls around fairly regularly - as I type this it's currently showing a "We are Contra" banner) and we've been in a few parkrun emails too, as well as currently being on the Pro Direct site.

Yes, I was really pleased at the thought that they used runners from the local area, and not models. We all had a good time.

Well done on your 300 etc Doric Quine. Turned out nice for it :-B

I ran my fourth, and easiest, fakeparkrun course today. Mostly on grass but it's so firm currently it makes little difference. A sensible person would have done it before 1pm in this weather, though.

EDs: so when I review my risk assessment am I supposed to include risk of COVID19 spread? Or am I supposed to act as if we are running as normal? I don't know and there doesn't appear to be any guidance from parkrun afaik
