Fake parkrun three days late again - and this time it was an actual parkrun! Plean, the only one within current realistic distance from home. It is up and over the hill ... so I drove the two miles up the hill and parked outside the noted local beauty spot of the giant electricity substation. Then I continued on foot to the park itself.

The current weather had dried up almost all of its notorious mud, evenb the bit before the anti-horse gate by the WW1 trenches. Which helped me record a not-quite course worse, and actually my fastest fakeparkrun of five.

Mind you, a few posts back someone commeñted hoping that fakeparkrun times convert into realparkrun times, whenever it resumes. I certainly hope that mine don't :-o

Just counted up 7 Fetch Fake parkruns. Darn you COVID, that would have put me on 483 parkruns. Oh well - I hope they still do t-shirts by the time I get to 500.
My Fake parkrun course has 2 big hills, including a half mile drag up with a really steep final 200m. I'm expecting season's bests all round when we do finally run real parkruns.

106m ascent for me, all in the first 3km. When I reach the top it's a blessed relief.
