Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sounds good

I did a local road run earlier in the week which turned out to be more or less 5K. There’s a brutal just about runnable but probably quicker to march hill c 250 ft climb I’d guess in the first third then again down towards the end

I'm planning on getting out of the door for my first run in a little over a month tomorrow, so I've stuck the fakey in my portfolio.

I will no doubt find it a shock to the system (both getting out and the run itself!) but it should be a good indicator of fitness, or lack of. I wasn't firing on all cylinders in Feb so dread to think what sort of time I'll end up with ....

Sigh
I haven't really pushed myself over 5k for a couple of weeks, so it'll be a hard effort tomorrow. Going to run the 5k route used for a 2-lap local 10k race.

Unlikely to be a SB or a PB though.

Have a good run Sigh :-)

We went out earlier and jogged round 20 laps so half a Parkrun. The course looks in great nick ( in fairness I ran it yesterday too ;-) ) but tomorrow will be an easy effort run only

Right, despite having just had two glasses of Prosecco I am determined to actually get out and do a fake parkrun tomorrow - only managed two so far.

Just completed my first Fake parkrun in 23:11 big SB there as I wasn't expecting to break 25 with my current fitness. Must be doing better than I thought!

As suspected I found that tough going. Course a tad short @ 3.05 miles
Muscles, lungs and mind all burning and had to resort to a number of walking breaks from mile 2. Gone considerably backwards having hung up the trainers for a couple of months but at least I got out there this morning.
