Well done everyone. I scheduled mine for yesterday and a lovely run it was. (although I am trying to run a parkrun everyday, I knew today's would be hit and miss after a zoom wine and cheese party followed by family board games last night).

I like to show an interest in the fake parkrun location each week. So I looked up the website for Botanical Gardens, Akureyri, Iceland.

On the website for this park there is a poem by an Icelandic guy, which Google struggled to translate to English and it reads a bit strangely.. here are 4 of the lines:

"and beat Pan pipes Predictably,
the love you eyes
young I hired faster,
flowers mother finest!"

I will try elsewhere for a better translation.

Well done, fakeparkrunners.

Very pleased with my effort this morning, my fastest out of three on this route by well over 2 mins. Starting to get used to Bradford's hills, I hope.

It was hot out today! Jogged round With Mrs. CW. Had Ms. CW with us on her bike. Pretty just that is against parkrun rules but the ED is a rebel, let’s hope HQ don’t hear.

What's up DT?

@Mike, you can ask ITG to translate. She lives there.

Technical issue with pegs. Tried a controversial new method with them in a bum bag and it was awful *

* crap excuse for set off too fast on a hot day and got in a sulk (again). Then basically CBA. Getting fed up of running round in circles. I’ll have another go this evening possibly ‘outside’

I've heard Akureyri is lovely. Might do a virtual street view tour later.
