Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

At Stratford the council give us volunteers passes valid from 7.45-10.30 only on Saturdays in the specific car park next to the rec (parking is a nightmare in Stratford). The volunteers get given the pass when they check in and return the pass when they leave.

The RD takes the volunteers' car registration numbers, Linds, and presumably has a way of clearing them with the parking meter system.

Bedgebury also gives volunteers free parking. I know the car park there works by numberplate recognition - the machines don’t give you a ticket to display, you pay and tell the machine your reg number. So I’m guessing the parkrun supplies a list of reg numbers to the car park company.

I bet it helps them fill the volunteer roster, I know if I go there again I’m going to bring my husband along and talk him into volunteering (they didn’t have free volunteer parking when I went before).

We have free volunteer parking at Fell Foot - the RD hands the volunteers who need one (most regulars are NT members who also park for free) a dated token to display on their dashboard.

Sad to miss our fifth birthday today but family commitments meant I had a chance to tourist at Oakwell Hall near Bradford - nice, if somewhat lumpy, route on good trails through the woods with a very welcoming team.

Bevendean Down is near Brighton’s stadium and on match days it’s resident permits. The parkrun have permission for people to park if they are displaying a printed barcode until mid morning or so.

Very small numbers but a similar CPZ scenario and one that I imagine is quite bespoke.

From memory Osterley did that (it's a NT property).

Been offline for a bit and not scrolling right back, but has the partnership with Mini been discussed? Apologies if it has.
