Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That's good. Not been there for months. May be heading to Birmingham first thing so this might not be the week either!

Good news HB. I did a course check and Dinton should be on if no more rain falls over night. We will be on the alt. course though. 3 locals ones are cancelled though so I guess we will be busy.

A bit less stress for you hopefully HB. Northala for me.

Also alternate course as we have a bridge that's very unsafe in the wet.

We’re away this weekend near Ross on Wye. I’ve done Ross-on-Wye and Forest of Dean parkruns before so looking at Mallards Pike, which looks a nice one. I was considering Chippenham Playing Fields but no dogs allowed as it’s a school, which of course is totally fair enough. I don’t run with a dog but OH tends to walk our dog whilst I’m running.

@Big_G Mallards pike is a great parkrun, Lydney is also great but may be a bit far. Newent is also good but on school grounds so may not allow dogs. Ross has cancelled anyway this week

@The Mussile thanks. Funnily enough we did walk some of the Ross on Wye course yesterday with the dog and i thought it was a bit sloppy. We’re in the van and are just getting ready to head over to Mallards Pike. I’ve heard of Lydney - Matt “the Welsh Runner” Rees occasionally does sessions around there. Maybe one for another time we’re up around this way.

30 minute miles our last group were doing today, before they sacked it after 2 miles. Off to defrost.
