Big_G wrote:Ross on Wye parkrun today and as I’m staying at campsite close by, I ran there to do the event and ran back. It’s a 2 lapper around the edge of a couple of fields, so decent paths, with some stones, roots etc. Tends to get around 100-130ish in recent weeks but there were a lot of tourists there today so I’m expecting a fair percentage of first timers in the results today. They have access to a clubhouse that serves drinks, and it’s a nice friendly event.

Thanks for the round up . That’s the parkrun I’m doing on the 10th. It will give me a R for the alphabet

Great little event in Newcastle West yesterday. 37 runners, 7 volunteers and a cracking little park

Has anyone done Northallerton? It says there are showers at the leisure centre - is that right? We will be stopping on the drive up to the ferry at the start of a cycle tour and we'd prefer to be clean rather than parkrun fresh when we get into the clothes we'll be wearing for the next two weeks! We can leave the running kit in the car while we're away and deal with the smell when we get back...

Used to be AstraZeneca's global HQ I believe? Visited it a few times for work. Nothing active with them these days, which is a shame as I can see their current HQ from my office window and it would be very convenient.
