Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Wrong jkt this morning. I also left the house with decent weather only to have to endure rain, wind and cold. I only had my anorak so started with it on but needed to take it off half way along

This was the last Saturday until next Winter for the Winter course at Hunstanton.

If you watch the weather conditions next Winter, this is a nailed on PB course. Ascent and descent measured in inches and a small field make for a really really fast course.

Hunstanton is my NENDY even though Sandringham is closer to me but the distances are as the crow flies.

We went to Bushy. I’ve been before, went this time as a guide runner. It’s still an amazing feat of smooth organisation and we had our results just after 10.30, with correct (1000+) token numbers and spot on times!

I have also run the same course as 2 different parkruns. Highbury Fields had an extra run on a Thursday lunchtime when the Olympic torch came through town. It was only when the results came through I found out it was a Bespoke parkrun and not Highbury Fields.

You could have a different course every week at Inverness, sometimes subtly and sometimes big changes. Plus two different parks over it's history.

Weather was very variable at Elgin, and the field very thin at the back. Still warmer walking than marshaling so as ever big thanks to the volunteers.

Falkirk had a different course for a couple of weeks recently, due to its recurrent fallen tree problem. Unfortunately, I missed running it.

Though the only actual tree injury afaik occurred not during parkrun, or even on the course. A large branch fell on a couple as they walked from the café to the car park - one of them suffered a broken arm or leg.
