Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Was at Rickmansworth yesterday. Glorious morning and an easy 3 lap flat course. Usually it's 2 laps but there was flooding somewhere.

Stopped to run Salisbury on my way up to Bath. Four laps, pretty level with a few pinch points at bridges till the field spreads out. Pretty stretch along the riverside, and we were lucky with dry and sunny weather.

My thursday walking football is costing me time at parkrun (and comfort). Two days after anything strenuous and my muscles do the aching. Even my wife beat me this week, which is rare (I am faster normally based purely on stride length, nothing more). The course was flat and I was over 30 minutes. I might have to give up the walking football (walking very fast football it should be called), as my legs are stiff as boards. That or a Friday massage.
