Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I honestly liked Queens and didn’t mind Faskally but I do think Stoney is harder.

I’m the best part of two minutes faster at Stoney than Queen’s and over two minutes faster there than at Faskally LipGloss

Stoney is far easier than Faskally and Queens! I think Carlisle was easier, I did 28:47. Lucky to get sub 30 at Stoney. But that's maybe because I chat more there.

I did Stonehaven 2 minutes faster than Faskally and then did Queens 2 minutes faster than Stonehaven the following week.

I've pondered Faskally, but if it's four minutes slower than QP, I think I'll pass ;-) QP being four minutes slower than Strathclyde.

It’s a nice run tbf, I’ve never done it without walking ☺️

Pitlochry is nice for a wander too.

I agree, Faskally is very nice and I like Pitlochry. Not done Strathclyde. I did Elder Park last Saturday and got my fastest time since 2017! It's very flat.

If parkruns have multiple routes, do those that do collecting feel the need to do the different routes ?

A parkrun in Canada had its fastest male finisher at 36:24 a couple of weeks ago, and the first finisher at 38:25 the time before that (with all finishers being female), 56 minutes was fast enough to get you third place.

I don’t. Depends on the person I suppose.

I have never heard of people collecting different versions of the same parkrun. It’s very hard to prove unless you show the GPS traces. Very few people will have a full set from Dinton as we only ran 'the Stag Bettle finish' once in 200 events.
