According to With Me Now, they started without a core team which is probably why they are struggling for volunteers.

That sort of explains it, but was there any explanation of why there wasn't a core team in place? (I haven't bothered listening to WMN for sometime). Not exactly promising foundations for a sustainable event with so many other established core teams regularly struggling to fill rosters.


No, they didn't say why, but then as they are not an official parkrun podcast they may not have the insight.

Aston Hall has received comment from a lot of corners for their lack of a core team. How can HQ let a new event launch if they don’t have a substantial team in place? Weird.
