The bomb squad were at Edinburgh parkrun detonating a bomb on cramond beach.

It wasn’t cancelled. They turned up when people were finishing. The magnetic fisherman have found a few bombs in the canal in recent times and they bring them to the beach and detonate them.

I saw them bury it in the sand, luckily tide was out, but was too cold to hang about and see what happened. I heard the explosion on my way home though.
