Off topic.. I got this from a friend and wondered about implications for some parkruns. Possibly none. I got this from a mate: Sadly not a joke but if you are National Trust members well worth voting in the AGM. Bunch of Farage's mates at Tufton St are trying to take it over. Quick and easy online using Quick Vote.
How do I identify the candidates best avoided?

I have the same question - I guess, in the limit, I'd just vote for the 'recommended' candidates but some clarity on who to actively vote against would help. Coincidentally, the email inviting me to vote/participate arrived about ten minutes ago.

ER, basically it’s probably best not to vote for the ‘Restore Trust’ lot. There is a quick vote option too, that votes for the people the council suggest.

Here is an older article, Dibble. Interestingly the Restore Trust lot were against the quick vote voting system….

they are more likely concerned about statues...

But yes I could see that they might dislike the idea of people using the facilities for free would make them spit blood
