Rather p’d off with my local community Facebook group.

I always share Witney parkrun’s status post on a Friday but due to a very unpleasant post on the Facebook group all posts are vetted before posting. Fair enough, but last week’s post wasn’t put up until 10pm which is probably too late to be of much use, and yesterday’s has just disappeared.

I messaged the Admin team last night but have had no reply🙁
With Witney having been cancelled because of course conditions recently I think that the poets is worthy of a share.

Happy news, last week I jogged around in 20 mins but picked up a lad in the last km who had gone too quick. Couldn't keep him going and he ran 20.05. This week I was there as the 20 min pacer, he ran with me from the start and got 19.59.

That's great, well done Gobi. One of my mates finally got under 20 minutes today, he's been close for a while. Smashed 20 seconds or so off it.

I pootled round for my 250th as not been very well. But really enjoyed it.

Great trip to Thames Path, Woolwich event #2 this morning.

Great course, lovely volunteers. The finish is next to a great cafe.

Glad I wasn't at the point end - I'm have missed the spectacular view of runners streaming up and down the "Walnut Whip" style hill.

Had a lovely sunny run at hazlehead today and enjoyed rounding up my troops after.
