Back to my usual parkrun today. Bit of a shame that one of the volunteers put in a complaint. Club takeover. There were two tailwalkers. The club persons name got mentioned. The other didn’t and complained. Honestly. Get a life.

Loved Beckton! Can't believe we found a cheerful little community-flavoured parkrun just half a mile from ExCel. Probably around 100 runners. Tea/coffee and biscuits al fresco afterwards. It's a cracking little event - I did it a few years ago and keep meaning to go back. |

I have bad memories about the 2018 London marathon. Weather was not for running in.

I have bad memories about the 2018 London marathon. Weather was not for running in. I still have nightmares about it. The hottest day in the history of the planet.. |

Start marshal this year rather than on the baggage trucks Which start were you on? We were Yellow/Red. We're there a long time now on Red since they started the waves coming out of the park, used to just set them off and then leave, now we walk back and forth between the park and start line taking waves up in turn. |
