MN, I saw someone take a tumble on the first lap. Hopefully he was ok! Yes, chaotic with overtaking.

There were a few nasty pot holes particularly in the first grassy bit, I was having nightmares about rolling an ankle!

Exmouth for me. One of my slowest ever, I'm taking it easy as I am recovering from my knee.
But incredibly i got one of my three remaining position bingo spots- i got another one in my last run. Just need 74 and 90 to complete the set.

Loved Beckton! Can't believe we found a cheerful little community-flavoured parkrun just half a mile from ExCel. Probably around 100 runners. Tea/coffee and biscuits al fresco afterwards.

A little odd today as one chap after the start was joined by two sons on their bikes, I would guess 6 and 9/10. Perhaps they joined at the first corner as I didn't see them at the start. A bit narrow for that as the kids didn't seem to understand keeping to the right and the faster runners on lap two were having to negotiate their unpredictability as was anyone else near them. Still, I would be surprised if he did it again as at least one struggled with our hill and needed pushing and he probably realised it wasn't a practical thing to do

Victoria Dock, just over a mile away, had 699 finishers muppet I missed the opportunity to get in some practice for running in a crowd tomorrow.

A very civilised 254 at Greenwich today, about 70 over our current “normal” but still very comfortable for all.

A friend of mine was at Victoria Dock. 699 against a “normal” of about 200. He sent me a photo of a queue of people waiting to cross the finish line!
