Maybe she tracked her run on the watch so that would clarify things?

One of our parkrunners was off at Zuiderpark today, looked good.

It is exactly a year this weekend since we had - and I feel I can say it out loud now - the cardiac arrest happen at our event. I actually got to meet the person a few weeks ago, and they looked amazing, have started jogging again (indoors for now!) and gave a very moving speech thanking us all by name for stepping in. Was in bits, but was a celebration of how the parkrun community pulled together.

If you get the opportunity to get any CPR training, please please do take it.

When we had laps on our temporary course, if someone didn't complete them all we took them out of the results. It was obvious with some people that they'd just done one lap instead of 2, by comparing their previous times. If it resulted in a course record I'd be even more inclined to do it.

I was going to wait til tomorrow to see if she emailed in - she must know her result isn’t correct - I’ll ask HQ to remove her otherwise

I caféd for a change this week as well. Bumped into someone I know at the end of Livingston (his home run - I'd have not seen him in aaages, if I hadn't also seen him two weeks ago at Falkirk). He suggested we join him in the indoor bowling club, which is the café and around 200m from the finish.

So we did, and had a guid blether. The catering is a homespun family affair, with a mug of coffee from an urn for £1.30; and my mate was very impressed by his cooked breakfast (six items, but he got eight).
