Looking forward to a bit of tourism this month - Torvean next Saturday and Loch Leven two weeks after that. Both latched on the events we have in the area on the Sundays.

We did Torvean a few weeks ago, and had a grand old time (despite the weather!), further enhanced by meeting 57.5 Degrees of Pain just before the start.

Snail thank you! I’m running Cambridge half on Sunday so just using the parkrun as a shakeout on my way south. Starting near the back and being held up a bit will be perfect to prevent me burning my taper before race day!!

Volunteer on Sat morn again - looking forward to it. Yes, I am shamelessly building up to my 25 so I can get the t-shirt. Then I'm going to run to 100, cos that's just 15 away too. I love both, so I'm doubly happy! :-) G

HellsBells it’s on my list for our next trip, but timing doesn’t work this weekend!

Looking at my NENDY my first two nearest are The Spinney and Feltham, both prisons. The first accessible one for me is Southall, but I quite fancy a trip to Richmond parkrun which is not that much further away.

[I'm trying to think of a punchline for this post - I posted it in the 'joke of the day' thread by mistake :-) ]

I've just realised that I'm on 92 vols and 90 runs, so I'm going to have a go at making both numbers match at 100 sometime soonish.

I might do the new event in Brigg this weekend for a change of scenery. A sudden increase in Dad's taxi duties is preventing me from doing much tourism right now.
