Mine is Penrith, which doesn't appeal much, but the next two nearest are Talkin Tarn and Rothay Park, both of which are on my Must Do Sometime list.

I have signed up for volunteering at Sandhurst with an open ended "I'll do whatever you need." I think I have done everything on the roster apart from barcode scanning, so they can fit me in where they want to. Actually I have done barcode scanning, but just stepping in after a run without a credit. That would have been a long time ago when I finished well in the top half of the field. Now there are just about 10 people after me :-)

Did my NENDY. Twenty minutes walk from my house! Nearly two years after making the first enquiry, and six weeks after launch, finally got to run West Links.


This is my NENDY now so hopefully we will be there in the next week or two.

West Links is my TNENDY. Twelfth nearest. Faskally is actually closer, in a straight line, but probably a bit longer to get to.

Current NENDY is Levengrove (Dumbarton): 26 miles atcf, 35 by road.
