I put a post on my sea swimming FB group asking if anyone would be swimming at sunrise (4:57 am here) on June 21st because I was tempted to do it but didn't want to do it alone. One lady has said she'll join me so now I'm committed...hope I get up in time! (She's got a 50 minute drive to get here )

(I usually go to the Lido sunrise swim at home, which is *really* popular, so I kind of thought it would be a thing here too, but apparently not! Unless people turn up without mentioning it on FB!)

You might find it more convenient to swim at sunset to mark the solstice. You only need to drag your bum out for dawn on the winder solstice.

My friend was swimming at 3:30am. I’m a bit jealous.
