Nellers
Fingers crossed for a competent and quick engineer, @Daz Love . Mine was open this morning (sorry to rub it in Daz) and I did the "Double Pyramid" session I have set up on my watch (warm up, 100-150-200-150-100, 100 easy, repeat, warm down). The watch had some sort of blip and skipped the 100 at the start of the second pyramid, which really confused me! Ah well. 1900m swum at a pretty reasonable pace. Got to be pleased with that. |

Pool re-opened yesterday at 3pm so not too bad in the end. Was back in this morning for 2.2k. Need to change things up and be strict with doing some 'Nellers' sessions. I just go up and down!!

Going up and down a lot with good technique will still work, Daz.

I've been having fun rediscovering the old drills I used to do when I was learning front crawl. It breaks up the swim a bit and hopefully is reinforcing my technique. On the other hand it's possible I'm just flailing about like a mad woman ![]() |
