Hi all

Should have done this in the first place but after meeting Northern for a beautiful and cheeky hello yesterday we got talking about open water swimming while I am up with family

Basically I have failed in my mission to find somewhere to swim. But I think some of you would know decent places near where I am I could try next time we are up

We are staying with family in Cleckheaton

Anyone swim around this area?

My mermaids tail is almost dry!!

Hope you're enjoying t'balmy Yorkshire weather.

If you don't mind paying there is manvers far side of Barnsley or the blue lagoon near Ponti.

Best and most established free swim is at Sparth at Marsden.

Check 'friends of sparth ' on the book of face or 'KAPOWS' is another local group.

I'll see if I can post a link for Sparth.
