Totally exhausted. No run for me today. Need to refill the spoons.

I haven't run either - swam at lunch time, cold is on the wane but by the time I got home I had a headache and decided running wasn't sensible. Hope your spoon refilling goes to plan Beanie x

Rest day today, yay It always feels so much sweeter when you feel you've worked hard on training days 😊

Easy run/cross training combo for me today. I enjoyed a hard run yesterday after two easy days.

A visit to hospital to see sick friend. I'm physically more tired than an hour in gym or a 45 min run for sure. And emotionally no comparison. Suppose it's rest tho.

Tricky to know how to quantify that "effort", G, but if it's worn you out it's not "rest". You may only know when you do your next session.

It's not rest if you feel worn out! But the best 'cure' - or rather re-freshment/recovery might best involve gentle activity rather than conking out in front of a screen of whatever decription.
