But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Perfect weather, glorious blue skies. Just the right number of people - enough to really feel like an "event", not so many that we couldn't cope. I've had a fabulous morning.

Lots of local runners and familiar faces at Coldhams Common. And one diehard inaugural runner :-o And nothing I say will change him! Hopefully he didn't cause too much trouble...

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
