This thread is useful for highlighting new parkruns that start up .... not so I can attend the inaugural, but so I can attend at a later date if I wish. It’s good to share opinions , but it’s a shame that this thread has attracted trolls in the past and made many of us suspicious of new posters, much more so than on other threads.

Thanks ding doc and Blindcider...some useful feedback and insight. I'm interested in the Parkrun journey and love this forum to keep an eye on what's going on across the UK....with no intention to attend any inaugrals....unless one pops up locally. Saturday is here so I'm happy and up early. The weather looks good and looking forward to another Parkrun. I'll check the results of my nearest 5 Parkruns later and check the UK stats tomorrow. Can't help but be interested. #offthegrid 👋

Back on topic to inaugurals - Felixstowe parkrun now has a Facebook group/page for establishing the core team and reports 'things moving along nicely' route is sorted so hopefully not long before it gets going - looks like they are getting a lot of support from Ipswich too. How does one put it in the list over there >>>>

Baroness - I could be wrong but I understand that the person who originally set up the thread updates the side listing based on posts within the thread - which makes all the trolling even more annoying given some genuine posts can be missed when browsing back.
