I don't see why people think it's a big deal or impressive in any way. So you have the money and time to travel round the country to inaugurals every Saturday, whoop! Also that type of person rarely volunteers. A bit like these folk who are collecting all the parkruns in Scotland. I'm not impressed. I follow this thread to find out about where new parkruns are starting. I've only ever been to 3 inaugurals in 7 years of attending parkrun and one of those I'm on the core team and was volunteering.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
