This was a plain box I've decorated for my daughter to use as a keepsake box. I made a box for my son a few years back. The element in my original pen broke so treated myself to a new and better pyrography setup rather than a glorified soldering iron. Much better...

The results aren't necessarily exactly as we'd planned, but still very pretty I think, and we had a whale of a time. She's really being put through the wringer at the moment, so it was a blessing to be able to help her relax and take her mind off the worst of it.

Which is fine, I love a bit of purple, but feels like a waste of all the other colours...

And I imagine one of the joys of dying your own yarn is never knowing quite how it's going to turn out. Wondering whether Endure24 will be compatible with getting on with a few squares of my latest blanket.
