It's been a while since I last posted any craft work but since I've been at home with broken wrist I've had chance to do more. This was a plain box I've decorated for my daughter to use as a keepsake box. I made a box for my son a few years back.

The element in my original pen broke so treated myself to a new and better pyrography setup rather than a glorified soldering iron. Much better...

That's gorgeous, dragon!

I've had a very lovely craftular day, dying in the garden with my friend.
The results aren't necessarily exactly as we'd planned, but still very pretty I think, and we had a whale of a time.

She's really being put through the wringer at the moment, so it was a blessing to be able to help her relax and take her mind off the worst of it.

It turns out purple is a really pushy git of a colour, there was supposed to be a lot of other stuff going on, but they ended up overwhelmingly purple.

Which is fine, I love a bit of purple, but feels like a waste of all the other colours...

Beautiful work Dragon!

Love that yarn Rae - but then I am a purple freak. And I imagine one of the joys of dying your own yarn is never knowing *quite* how it's going to turn out.

Wondering whether Endure24 will be compatible with getting on with a few squares of my latest blanket.

Morning all.

I've posted a blog, if anyone is interested, of the handiwork of the ladies of East Preston Village. In my humble opinion, it's rather good.
