I'm winding wool shortly to start this with my friend Features as a casual KAL! We're going to start it tomorrow and share the experience without racing to finish. We both bought similar yarns at the Knit for Peace show in November.

The yarn is lovely, but it's a challenge to work with for me as it's 4ply I think and not twisted. I've only used dk or heavier before so it's much lighter than I'm used to. It's a cotton/acrylic mix.

Purps, that looks like the sort of fine crochet my gran used to do. I mean that as a huge compliment. It'll look amazing as the colour gradient works through.
