Anniken Allis knits like that - I am sure she will have clips on youtube or her own website.

I knit like that but Iā€™m not sure if I could explain how. I just do it.

'Norwegian purl' seems to get mentioned on Rav quite a lot relating to continental knitting - perhaps putting that into a YouTube search might get some useful tips?

Have tried continental knitting a few times, but just can't get the hang of it, so I'm happy to stick with what I've been doing for the last 50+ years!

I'm right handed and knit continental. I'm a bit like SS, in that I just do it. Thinking about it, it seems to involve using the left forefinger to move the yarn round the needle.

I've been teaching Unicorn Girl (9) to knit and she is naturally holding the yarn in her left hand. I have no plans to 'correct' her. :-)

Can anyone recommend a chunky, squooshy wool for a baby blanket (so machine washable and tumble dryable!).

I'm thinking of doing this pattern ravelry.com
I quite like the look of the Bernat blanket/baby blanket wool that - has anyone used it?
