Thanks, Nellers. That makes sense. Here's the link: fmrowing.com [Hoping that works!] The CrossFit stuff looks unimaginably brutal. Definitely not for me but hats off to those who can even begin to contemplate what they do! Ditto, for Mouseytongue's erg marathon - well done! |

So I felt a bit bored and unenthused for my session this morning, which was supposed to be a long one. Decided to mix it up and do something random and simple, but not easy, instead. 15 x 1 minute on/ 1 minute off. Tried to hold rate about 30 and was close to that for the first 10 or 12 then let it drift up a little and really sent it on the final minute effort. Really hard but really enjoyed it, is a masochistic self-destructive kind of way. |

Ah yes, the half-hour of power. One of my faves. Good for redlining it!

Threshold session tonight. 4 x 6 minutes @ r26/ 3 minutes recovery. Found it less difficult than I expected if I'm honest. It was tough but I thought it would be tougher than that. Managed to keep an average r26 for the first 3 but it crept up to 27 for that final piece, and the pace was dropping slightly each rep too. Early days and I'll get stronger from it I guess. |

First time in ages I’ve done a morning session other than just an easy paced steady state. 3 x 10 minutes @ r20 done today, which was ok mostly. I need to make sure I give myself enough time to do a better warm up next time I try this. The first rep felt rough!

Morning all. Hats off to Nellers for doing back to back evening and morning sessions like that. Although that said, back in the day I found that if I did a hard 10k blast on the rower in the evening before a running race, I'd generally do well the next day. Just seemed to get the legs ready in advance. Anyhoo ... 4 x 15 mins today. Plan said 6 mins at 24-ish spm then 9 at 20-ish spm but I did them the other way round, I find it hard to adjust rating downwards. The fourth I just did as a 5-4-3-2-1 stroke ladder, for variety and ending with a mad thrash for the final minute. Not sure of the training benefit but it felt good! |

Don't know how many of you are using the orange site, there appears to be a bug when uploading from maybe just my erg. Loving the distance and calories burnt 😂😂 |

I have had a few like that, those were the highest though. Would be nice to see if others do that too or just me. The entries in my log are fine. Was pleased with that 5000m anyway, a PB. Hopefully be able to run a 5k that fast again someday. |
