Not really, no. I reckon I should get close to it if nothing goes wrong before the day but I don’t really expect a PB. You never know though.

No you never know, the adrenaline will need pumping for your first comp, I think you'll do well! There's a race start feature on pm5, might be worth practising.

Another outdoors 5k tonight, I think I'd developed a mental block rowing in the conservatory after a couple of HDs 😂

Another 10k tonight, but really slow.
I am knackered.
Now 10/12. The 2 I missed were circuits and track night.

The 10k version of the challenge is a lot to manage Sinj. I've pretty much given up trying as I'm much more bothered about hitting the paces and recovering. If you can stick with it you'll see the benefit but not for another few weeks after you've done and recovered.

Craggy, the adrenaline is what worries me. If I go off too fast you'll hear the bang from there!

I kind of took your suggestion Craggy. 10 x 1min on/ 1:40 off.

Ave pace for the 10 reps was 1:41.3. Slowest was 1:42.7 and fastest was the last one at 1:37.4.

48 hours recovery with an easy 10k tomorrow morning then we'll see how all this translates to a 2km TT on Sunday.

Excellent session Nellers, that's impressive and a strong finish too! I reckon 2k pace will feel a little more comfortable after doing that 👍

God I hope so! I'd settle for "a little less like dying" if I can't get it to "a little more comfortable".;-) Cheers mate.

Good to see you’re getting back on the erg, Craggy. I mainly do my rowing outdoors too and rarely have a good session when I have to bring the erg indoors, so know what you mean.

Sinj - that’s an impressive training run you’re putting together. Recover well, through!

And Nellers, you’re flying! I’m looking forward to hearing how the TT goes today. As Craggy said, don’t underestimate the impact of the adrenaline from competing in a real race rather than “just” doing a TT in the shed.

No training for me at the moment as I have Symptoms, so have gone into self-isolation. I think that warrants a 🙁 for me and a 😷 for everyone else. Stay well, everyone!
