Morning. And greetings to clare1976 (who has some very impressive race times!)

I use a folded over towel on the Concept 2 seat to cushion the old buns. Works well as long as I remember to unpeel/unstick it once in a while and throw it into the washing machine (it usually slithers there by itself).

Declaring 10000 nice and slow, just mileage. I think the plan now has me stepping up the pace a little. We'll see.

Thanks. 4/5 yesterday with a slow 10,000m with a short break to remove the cat that had climbed onto my lap mid-row.

Going for the 1,000m sprint tonight. Bit of a warm up and then see what happens.
Aiming for a sub 3:30, but we will see.

Nothing tomorrow as off to Bristol to visit friends for a parkrun and then son who is at Uni.

You’ll smash 3:30 mate. I’m betting 3:26 or better.

No pressure.😉

Lovely images, Muttley!

My cat's terrified of the erg. Can't imagine him ever climbing on my lap mid-row. He likes to get involved in yoga and Pilates sessions, though...

Good luck with the 1000m TT, sinj. Look forward to hearing how you get on.

Thanks Nellers.

The video is good. My s/m maxed out at 37, he hits this all the time and gets well into the 40s towards the end.
Also the drive length is 1.40-1.50. Mine is 1.30.
Fairly short compression on he legs. The knees are no where near over his ankles. I noticed this on another video as well.

Lots to work on. Just need to grow taller by a few more inches

He has the advantage of being 6’4” or 6’6” or something. I did whoop at his stroke length too. Enormous!

His time hasn’t gone up in the rankings yet but when I looked earlier he should be the new leader.

Toying with having another go on Sunday if I get home in time as I’ll have had over 48 hours of rest from rowing by then, although a fair chunk of that will be driving.

Bristol trip fell through as we couldn’t be bothered to get up in time.
Local parkrun plus a lazy 10k row to make 6/7 for Mud Season Madness.
