decided i have to be more positive. the furthest i've run is a half mara so today i ran 25.5km to prove to myself there are still new and positive things in my life...and it worked too! (or it could have been the endorphins..)

Bob!
First run for 3 weeks after injury, decided to do 4 miles at sub 70% HR. It felt so easy I did 6 instead. Cold & windy but gratifying

Buchlyvie half. Heavy rain (if you saw the scotland match -twas the same rain) turned the tracks into a complete bog, knee deep water amd mud in places and very long stretches of slippery mud. I found it very hard going but that may also have partly been due to my 10 mile race the day before. One guy who had done 56 half's said it was the 2nd hardest, the 1st being one in 40 degree heat. Did 1:58 odd -Shattered now but still have that -still finised the b*stard after race grin.
Oh, organized, Marshalled and believe it or not, if dry a potential PB course
