That sounds good mate.

Are we going for the weekend of 21-22 November or 28-29 November then? The later date gives us a full 4 weeks to get ready.

I could do with the full 4 tbh but would make do with 3 it that’s the consensus.

I’m currently on my 3rd set of (3 x 5/10/15)+ 20 more press-ups. I’ll do 4 sets today in total I think for 60 pull-ups, 200 press-ups and 180 squats. It’s not too bad actually.

The squats make me puff and the press-ups are like a recovery (I’ve been doing 200 a day for quite a while now). The third set of 5 pull-ups are difficult but I guess they will become easier.

By the way, I’m not quick. I’ll have to time the next set.

The squats are the "cardio" bit but after 300 you do feel it in your quads a bit. I personally found the press ups the hardest. Doing sets of 5 pull ups was doable unbroken (I guess the muscles used and the movement is similar to/helped by the rowing stroke) but I had to have a couple of rests in the later press up sets.

Chinups will be my nemesis I think. Will try and make the time this weekend to practice 5/10/15 partitioning.

So just timed my last set. 4:06 for 15 pull-ups, 50 press-ups and 45 squats. Not sure I could keep up that pace though!

When you say hurt, Mousey, do you mean injury hurt or hard work lungs burning hurt?

CW, part of the challenge is to find a sustainable pace/ split it down into manageable, pardon me, chunks.

Lungs and quads, I’m a bit out of practice. Also wore the shoes without PF inserts, which was foolish. Will have another bash Sunday.
