4x (50 press-ups + 5 Pull-ups) done! I quite enjoyed the pull ups now I can actually do them with the band.

Excellent!
My advice to everyone on this is "Don't neglect the squats". Although as runners we all think our legs will be fine I can promise that after 300 squats (or 150) your quads will not be in a good way and the first bit of your run will be jelly-legs!

Oh squats, I was trying to ignore them. Maybe after I have got used to the pull-ups.

Yes lammo, and you've still got over a week to get yourself ready mate.

I've been a bit light on the running this last week (actually I don't think I've run a step since Monday) but I've done loads of press ups, some squats, squat jumps and lunges and a bunch of other strength stuff in the shed.
Today I did a 20 minute session of 6 pull ups/11 burpees/ 16 squats and realised that burpees might be easier on your chest and shoulders than press ups but they're a lot harder on your lungs!

A bit more than a mile run, 15 rounds of 5/10/15 in the playground, then about 1.5 miles run home. I think I'm ready for Thursday as long as I don't do anything stupid and blow my legs out or catch the cold my wife has in the meantime!

Really impressive Nellers. I'm still full of a cold so doesn't look on for me. Will try and get practice in and do it when I'm a bit more prepared.

My holiday cottage had a lovely oak table which was great for doing pull-ups under. 2 reasons that is a pity: back home now and only managed one set whilst I was there!
