Forest plodder - although the forest car parks are busy, esp. at weekends, and lots of notices not to park on the verges, get 100yds from the car park, and off the main cycle paths, the place is still empty.
There's a few spots with ground nesting birds, so if you do go really off-path on grassy areas, take care. But they will soon let you know that they don't like it.

Helegant
Checking in.

Getting stronger each day, as is Mr. He's struggling a little more with the fatigue. My lungs are still problematic but improving.

The sunshine has brought out the many 'local' families that consist of at least four adults and multiple children, walking, chatting, picnicking. The car park has been packed since early morning and the surrounding roads are also busier then usual for parking.

Our poor dog hasn't had a proper run because we've had to keep him on the lead to avoid him stealing food from all and sundry. First world problems. We're OK and so, fortunately, are those we love.

There are still C-19 patients on my rounds (most of them are positive) at hospital, but the sense of pressure seems a bit less. Apparently Bedford has been a local hotspot but I wonder if the hospital has skewed the figures?
