Agree with LindsD there just isn’t any chance of eliminating it in the UK for a while. It’s not even a goal.

I'm very happy for New Zealand, I think they dealt with it very well and have got the result they deserved. I'm also surprised that there wasn't more infection there as there seemed to be lots of Chinese tourists when I was there in 2018. Perhaps the tourists mainly come from more affluent areas of China where infections were much lower compared to the workers of Wuhan, who would not be able to afford to travel to NZ. I agree that we will still be dealing with it here for the next 8-12 months |
